Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Learn more about the NSW Department of Education’s School Uniform Policy.

All students who attend KHPS are expected to wear the school approved uniform. This adds to the commitment of the school’s expectations of Respect, Responsibility and Success. The ‘No hat, play in the shade’ policy operates throughout the year as part of the SunSmart schools program.

The Uniform Shop is on the school grounds, and is operated by our P&C association. It is proudly run by a fantastic group of volunteers. All profits made by the shop are donated back to the P&C to be put towards exciting projects that benefit the students. The Uniform Shop carries the complete range of KHPS uniform requirements (excluding shoes), second hand items, plus a variety of extras.

For your convenience we also have ordering available online through Flexischools., open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week  and the items will be delivered to your child's classroom.
