Our Principal & Staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

I extend a very warm welcome to all families joining us in the coming year. KHPS is a friendly, vibrant, community-minded school, whose decisions always put the students first.

Kindergarten is an exciting time for students. They are starting their school journey and we are looking forward to forming a positive and productive partnership with parents and carers as they navigate the next seven years at KHPS.

There are many opportunities for parental and community involvement. We hope that through your participation and interest in your child’s education, you will also come to feel very much a part of our school and it’s warm, generous community.

Strong and active P&C involvement has enabled the school to continue to make significant advances in it’s physical learning environment. It’s resource base and ability to offer wide ranging educational opportunities. https://www.khps-pc.com.au/

The school maintains a safe learning environment with the core values of ‘Respect, Responsibility & Success’ underpinning the student welfare ethos. Killarney Heights Public School is committed to continuous improvement in teaching, leading and learning.

Again, I extend a warm welcome to all families and am very proud to be the Principal at this outstanding school. It is a privilege to work with our students, our staff and our families each day to make our school the very best it can be.

With Regards,
Gillian Tegg
Principal
