Killarney Heights Public School is situated in a leafy and quiet suburb of northern Sydney, surrounded by national parks.
The school has well manicured grounds, excellent facilities and large playing areas for the students. We are a dynamic and growing school currently catering for a student population of almost 700.
Killarney Heights Public School has a unique French/English bilingual program which has been awarded the Label Franc’Education by the French government. This is an official world-wide accreditation which recognises our bilingual program as genuine excellence. Our school is the first school in Australia to receive this award and one of only 25 schools in the world.
Our teachers are highly qualified and committed to quality education. A strong professional learning community ensures teachers are equipped to teach the skills, knowledge and literacies essential for 21st Century learning. Our school is committed to providing rich programs to develop skills in critical thinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration and technology to enable all students to reach their full potential educationally, socially and emotionally. Our staff ensure that all students find school a secure, happy and challenging adventure.
The school has a very active Parent and Citizens' Association who support the school to update facilities. We value parents as partners in their children’s learning and encourage participation by parents in all aspects of school life.
I am proud to be the Principal of this unique primary school in northern Sydney and would be happy to meet with you to discuss our programs and wonderful educational opportunities.
