The KHPS Strings program is an exciting addition to our renowned extra-curricular music program, offering another choice to experience and learn music by playing a string instrument (such as violin, viola, cello and double bass).
The Strings program is for students from year 1 and above, for beginners with no prior experience and those already playing a string instrument. It is run in a group format under the guidance of a professional string teacher and conductor, Dominik Przywara, who conducts the rehearsals and performances throughout the year.
This program began in 2016, and is managed by the P&C. It is run entirely by volunteer parents of students in the program.
Rehearsals in 2019 will start week 2.
The KHPS String Ensembles are conducted by Mr. Dominic Przywara, a professionally trained strings conductor and a violin player.
